AUZZIE FAMILIES Staff
Christine Rose – is the Auzzie Families Homestay Care and Auzzie Internships & Study founder and CEO. She has been placing students in homestays for 15 years and has travelled extensively all over the world, both for business and for pleasure. A self-confessed perfectionist, her vision is to provide the best homestay and internship service in Australia, while remaining a friendly, dependable and approachable family-run business.
Jonathan - is a qualified ESL teacher and has worked in primary, secondary and language schools both in Sydney and abroad. He has travelled extensively and speaks Spanish and Portuguese. Jonathan has been placing students in Sydney homestays for the last 6 years. Currently he is responsible for placing underage high schools students, seasonal study tours and adult language students attending Sydney’s English language colleges.
Nikki - has been a proud member of the Auzzie Families team for over a year now and specialises in placing students attending UNSW Global and other urban schools. She has a passion for Sydney, where she has grown up, and enjoys sharing her insights into Australian culture with international agents and students. Nikki’s first-hand knowledge of other cultures is also invaluable to local host families. Nikki places both underage and adult students with welcoming Australian families and highly values the trust she has built up with both her clients and students.
Warren - Joined Auzzie families in 2007 following his previous 5-year position as Homestay and Welfare Co-ordinator at an English language College. Warren has also worked in various roles at The University of Technology Sydney including International Housing officer and Student Housing Manager. In addition he also has extensive experience in youth and social housing. Warren primarily looks after bookings for Macquarie University, Sydney University, two English Language schools and most Arabic speaking bookings.
Ann - is the Auzzie Families and homestay Care Accountant and has been with the company for the last ten years. She has a sharp eye for detail and ensures everyone gets paid correctly and on time! When she isn’t dealing with invoices, she loves travelling overseas to visit her children in New York and Madrid.
Trinitie - is the Auzzie Families Homestay Care and Auzzie Internships & Study General Manager and MYOB Consultant as well as Christine’s right hand woman (not to mention her daughter!) She loves travel, meeting new people and holds a Bachelor of Health Science (majoring in Naturopathy) and international cook to boot! Her culinary and medical services are often in demand around the office. In short, she keeps both staff and clients healthy and happy!
Kaye - is the Auzzie Families Accommodation Inspector and is the first contact that prospective families will have with Auzzie Familes. She has been with Auzzie Familes for seven years and has experienced all aspects of the business. A people person with communication skills (coming from her time as a performer in the Entertainment Industry), Kaye enjoys visiting families located all over Sydney to secure safe, friendly and clean homes for our students.
Tony - has just joined Auzzie Families as our Brisbane Coordinator. He is a Property Valuer by trade, and is now turning his skills to finding the perfect properties for our homestay applicants! Although a new member of the team, Tony’s positive and personable manner are proving to make him popular with clients and homestay providers alike.
